Frequently asked questions
How do the two phones connect?
Both devices sign into the same family iCloud account. The parent shares the routines from their phone, and the kid's device joins — that's it. There's no separate account to create and nothing to set up on a third-party service.
I bought Ambleen on one device. How do I restore it on another?
Open Settings inside the app and tap Restore Purchases. Apple ties the one-time purchase to your Apple ID, so as long as you're signed in with the same account, it will find your purchase automatically.
Why is there no skip button?
It's a deliberate stance, not a missing feature. A hard step waits quietly for as long as it needs to — nothing gets skipped and nothing shames the child. Rushing through or skipping a step tends to unravel the routine rather than complete it, and we'd rather the morning pause than push.
Does it work offline?
Yes. Routines run fully offline. When the device comes back online, everything syncs automatically through iCloud.
Is my child's data private?
Yes. All data lives in your family's iCloud — not on our servers. We never see it. You can read more on our Privacy page.
How do I delete our data?
The steps are on the Your Data page, including how to delete routines, sessions, and the full local store.
